Madame Servante takes us on a journey to a Saffron farm in in Khorasan region, in Iran. Through the intimate observation of Kaniz and other young women woking from dawn to dusk, this film sheds light on the backstory of the most expensive spice in the world, produced through the labour of women with minimum rights.
